Kodable Basics events offer a great opportunity to give your students fun and engaging computer science activities that also tie-in to everything else you have going on in the classroom. So get out your calendar and get ready for a full year of coding fun!
Here are the upcoming Kodable Basics in-app events that you can use with your students throughout the upcoming school year. If your classroom uses iPads be sure to update to the latest version of Kodable to participate in these events.
Back-to-School Coding Challenge
Event Dates:
September 9 - October 4
Event Description:
It's a bird... It's a plane... It's a coding adventure to start the new year! Help your students unlock their superhero coding powers through exciting weekly in-game challenges starting September 9th.
Students earn a puzzle piece for each challenge they complete and will unlock epic superhero-themed Fuzz costumes after collecting all four!
Halloween Block Party

Event Description:
It’s Halloween on Fuzztopia and the fuzzFamily is ready to celebrate with their spooky friends. Help the fuzzFamily make it to the trick or treat block party on Halloween. Navigate the spooky mazes and collect candy on the way!
Hour of Code
Event Dates:
December 9 - December 15
Event Description:
The Hour of Code is a global movement to introduce students to computer science with an hour of coding activities. During this week you can play Kodable’s Hour of Code activities right inside of the Kodable Basics app! You can also see and play these same activities year-round online on our website.
Valentine’s Day Coding Activity

Event Description:
Kodable's Valentine’s Day Coding Activity lets students code and decorate their very own Valentine-themed mazes for their loved ones!
