What's the caregiver's role during playesting?
While you're here to tackle any technical hiccups that might try to crash the party, the spotlight is firmly on your young playtester. It's their time to shine as they dive headfirst into the game, unleash their gaming prowess, and fearlessly conquer challenges solo. Our ultimate goal? Crafting games so mind-bogglingly intuitive that kids can jump in, take charge, and relish every single epic moment on their own.

What do you playtest?
We playtest not-yet-released games and features from Kodable, ensuring they are intuitive for kids.
When do you playtest?
We typically schedule playtests Monday through Friday between 9am to 6pm. You'll be able to choose your time block when you signup.
How long does it take to playtest?
Playtests for an individual last about 30 minutes. If we’re playtesting with siblings or a group, it can take up to 45 minutes.
Why should my child playtest?
Your youngster will have a significant part to play in enhancing our games for countless children. Alongside this, they will acquire insights into the game design procedure and various aspects of game development. Those who participate in playtesting will witness firsthand how their feedback creates an impact and has the potential to transform the game!
Can my child try the game ahead of time?
We kindly request that our playtesters hold off until their designated session to experience the game for the initial time. Observing their initial reactions to the game is of great importance to us.
Will the session be recorded?
Yes, this enables our team to revisit specific aspects of the playtest in the future. It's important to note that no videos or photos are taken without proper permission and are never shared outside the internal Kodable team.
